I got a verdict on my complaint against Executive Board & Management Team and received information from Public Prosecution Office (Openbare Ministerie). Based on this verdict, I plan to initiate criminal proceedings and civil proceedings against Executive Board and Management Team of Esprit Scholen/AICS.
I felt it was necessary to share this for protection of other parents and children attending their Schools.
In case, other current & past parents may have similar concerns for their own children, then of course they can reach me privately.
Past Review: National Education Complaints Board (LKC / Onderwijsgeschillen) has ruled in our favor on complaints I submitted against the School. Based on this advice, we are contemplating taking some very serious external steps against the school. I will be exercising my whistleblowing/klokkenluiden protocol to share these steps to protect other parents and children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not impressed with the AICS and would not recommend the school. Of course it's cheaper than the other international schools in Amsterdam and the luxury of having a waiting list means they lack empathy and push people around. The quality of teaching is average at best and overall it was a very poor experience for our family. Our children are now in a great school and we are very thankful, as we know the alternative only too well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been here for 8 years, and to be honest, it's a little better once you reach the MYP phase... stuur there'll staff members that aren't the best, but overall I would recommend this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AICS is a dutch international school with a good community spirit. AICS primary is great. IB programme is producing good results & AICS grads get accepted to good universities. UPDATE January 2022. AICS South relocated to a lovely new building in A J Ernstraat, with lots of improvements across the board.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst management, organization and treatment for any international school in Amsterdam. All they care about is their money and provide no support. Half the teachers are incompetent and under qualified to teach at an IB level. It has the worst IB pass rate in Amsterdam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My three kids have been going to AICS since they are were 4 years old (now eldest is 15) and all I can say, it is their second home and their inspiration for the future, the best place to be except home. While they get world class education, they are being happy to go to school every day, meeting their wonderful friends and teachers. I admire and appreciate the passion for teaching of both AICS teachers and its management, and giving our kids an opportunity to learn in a positive, inclusive and motivating environment. And now all this in a beautiful, state of the art modern, new building!
