Autoradam Almere Veluwedreef - De Strubbenweg 4

Had several vans from here recently. Very badly maintained and filthy vans. Please pay a few euros more and get a decent one, as customer service is poor. Van had cracks in windshield in two.places, many dents etc.

This place is the petrol station and it’s not just a petrol station because it has a huge car wash added to it and it is a restaurant inside we can get sandwiches and salads and snacks and so forth and it has a little shop in it’s a convenience store and outside there are too big machines one is a dryer for your big or little big loads of washing and I’m like your mattress covers et cetera you can put those in and it is too big washing machines and the prices are quite reasonable because it’s like €8 for a huge wash and about €5 to dry it and I think it takes about half an hour to wash in about half an hour to dry all depending on the amount of washing you put in the dryer the less you got in the quicker it’s going to try but you can put your duvet covers in your pillows and mattress covers and et cetera so and you can they’ve even got a little dog wash there so you can hop over or drive over get your dog out and put it in a huge basin and they’ve got everything there for you so it’s really super handy really really handy convenience petrol station

Close to highway A6 and still Reasonable fuel prices. They have a very good "textile" carwash and there are some diy washboxes available. The shop has a nice selection of freshly made sandwiches and warm/cooled drinks to go.

A big gas station with a hugh carwash. You can also rent a (limited number of models) car for a low rate. But don't expect your car to be clean on the inside!

Great service and friendly staff. I love that this gas station and it's shop are open 24/7! At 03 AM this is the only place in miles around to buy snacks and cigarettes. (not after 21:45 during Corona curfew) The gas station has a free public toilet that is super modern and Corona proof. You don't need to touch any surface. Everything (even the doors) are operated by motion detecting sensors. They moved the laundry section to the opposite side of the terrain. It is now located at the entrance (directly on your right side). And they also added an additional new washing unit (the one closest to the entrance). In the past I had some complaints about the laundry section. But since the washing machines have been relocated, at least on the new unit, all of my issues have been resolved! Yes, even hot water- now finally works as advertised! According to the notes on the machine, it currently only accepts coins and banknotes. No contactless payments (yet). There's also a warning stating that the machine does not refund change from banknotes. Fortunately the cashier from the gas station is kind enough to provide change if needed. The drying machine of the new unit now also works well. A 15 minute run at the highest temperature was sufficient for a two person blanket that I washed in the large washing machine. Cost: 8kg small washing machine 4€ 18kg large washing machine 8€ 18kg dryer 2€ per 15 minutes Time: Washing in the large 18kg washing machine at 80 degree Celsius took 45 minutes. And drying the same laundry took another 15 minutes. So, depending on how busy it is, you could be done in one hour. Autoradam solved the problem with drainage of their washing units I should mention that Autoradam also has a affordable rental service for trucks, cars and trailers. * In regular (non-corona) times the local youth likes to meet, hangout and chill at Autoradam. But because of the lockdown this is strongly discouraged by red tape preventing people to sit on the benches. Also, they put up a sign at the parking: "Samenscholen met meer dan 3 personen is VERBODEN" (see photo)

To much of my delight, I noticed that the washing machines have been brought back and have been increased in capacity by an additional unit. To wash a 2 person duvet, i recommend using the larger 8€ machine at 80 degrees (C). It comes out as new. The 80 degrees program takes 45 minutes. To dry the duvet I used the 30 minute program of the dryer. The machines accept both coins and banknotes although it does not return change. Staff at the gas station is super friendly and helpful. Autoradam serves the best coffee of Almere!
