Al meer dan 15 jaar is Bon Vivant een begrip in Bezuidenhout aan de Laan van Nieuw Oost Indië. Wij verwelkomen je graag in onze Bistro waar onze chefkok de heerlijkste gerechten voor je bereid en onze gastvrouw er voor zorgt dat het je tijdens jouw bezoek aan niets ontbreekt.

Prachtige producten, laagdrempelige gezelligheid zonder poespas, gewoon erg lekker! Wij zijn 5 dagen per week geopend voor een gezellige borrel of heerlijk diner.

One dish had to be returned to the kitchen after which the side salad was missing and some toppings of the hamburger were removed. Also had to ask twice before receiving drinks. However the personnel was friendly en tried to resolve the issues best as possible.

Menu regularly changes and it's always well above average for a place like this this suburban area. The interior is a bit dated and dark but if you bring good company you won't notice.

I made an online reservation three days prior to our expected dinner to celebrate a birthday, and on the Friday evening we arrived perfectly on time at 19:30. I even got a confirmation by email that very morning reminding us and confirming our reservation for that evening. The waitress greeted us in the most blunt and rude manner and told us that they gave our table away and wouldn't honor the online reservation I made because of how full it already was. The place was in utter disarray with staff running around like headless chickens, coats and umbrellas were carelessly strewn on the floor by the front door that made it very difficult to navigate inside, and there were drunken and disorderly buffoons blocking the doorway and reception area. Might I add that the noise inside the restaurant was absolutely deafening - I've been to nightclubs that were more tame than the zoo here. I'm surprised we even thought of coming back here, because last time the food was average at best and the service was rude and sluggish. This is the last place on Earth you should ever consider visiting if you want to enjoy a Friday evening out for dinner - there are so many other better restaurants dotting the area immediately around Bon Vivant that are really worth checking out. They say "Bon Vivant," I say "Bon Voyage."

They gave out table away because those people had been waiting a long time. It was deafeningly loud, the service was chaotic, there were clothes, umbrellas all over the floor, men smoking and blocking the entrance. The young woman, long black hair was unbelievably rude and condescending. We ate there a while back - the food was mediocre to say the least. There are many better places around in Bezuidenhout. It is expensive. Don't waste your money.

Before booking, we searched the pictures on google which, combined with the really affordable price, made me doubt at first but I was so wrong! I have really no idea why they are making so convenient offers since the place is really worth visiting on itself. It is slightly distant from the touristic center of The Hague but it is worth the cycling. The restaurant was bigger than expected and the two waitresses were also really nice and available. The menu card offers a wide range of dishes, steaks and the wines are especially tasty, the last is also offered in a huge glass. The chef was also really professional and kind, cooking everything perfectly, (a special compliment for the gambas). The place and the atmosphere is also really nice, both inside and outside, with a wide range of different tables.
