- Onion soup (8/10).
- Chicken with blue cheese sauce... (10/10).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ That Steak Sandwich!! We stopped over for a quick lunch and we got it right. The owners are such lovely and accommodating people, the food is amazing and the coffee hits the spot. This is slightly hidden away from the usual spots and tends to attract more locals than tourists.

My wife and I were visiting Leiden for the first time on a sunny Saturday and we were looking for a good place to have lunch. We found Bistro Noroc on our path and we immediately fell in love with its location, inside a narrow street in the pulsing heart of Leiden.
We were warmly welcomed, and we felt in the right place for a regenerating experience. When we looked at the menu, my wife and I would have ordered the entire menu! But eventually we had to choose. We ordered two delicious piadina sandwiches with a combination of flavors that was a monument to the tasting sense. After that, we had an Italian vitello tonnato, which tasted exactly how my mother would do it (we are from Italy). Finally, we had two mouth-melting desserts: an apple pie and a brownie with Nutella.
It was an amazing experience and we will definitely stop by every time we visit Leiden!
