★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De taarten zijn ongetwijfeld fantastisch, maar ik schrijf deze review voor de koffie die wij hier onlangs hebben gedronken. De cappuccino was goed. Krachtige espresso en romig melkschuim. Wat erg teleurstellend was, was de aankleding er omheen. De koffie werd geserveerd zonder koekje of lekkers, terwijl dat juist het verschil maakt tussen thuis een koffie zetten á €0,25, en hem in een zaakje drinken á €2,50. Voor een zaak die taarten maakt is dat juist een kans om te laten proeven wat voor lekkers ze in huis hebben! Verder was de sfeer niet optimaal, doordat het zit-gedeelte direct doorloopt in de RVS-keuken. Dubbele gevoelens dus.
The cakes are undoubtedly fantastic, but I am writing this review for the coffee we had here recently. The cappuccino was good. Powerful espresso and creamy milk foam. What was very disappointing was the decoration around it. The coffee was served without biscuits or sweets, while that makes the difference between making a coffee at home at € 0.25 and drinking it in a shop at € 2.50. For a business that makes cakes, this is just an opportunity to taste what goodies they have at home! Furthermore, the atmosphere was not optimal, because the seating area continues directly into the stainless steel kitchen. So double feelings.
