★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was reminded of not being white... It's great to be dutch but appreciate those who spend... I was added extra costs broodjes etc tonic ... I had to argue we did not eat here.... It is disgusting when you think... But worse when it is oke .. he showed me after payment plus tip

I always enjoy dinner and a drink there.
They also have men’s toilets designed by Stark which need to be seen (in a positive way) :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I called ahead to reserve a table for one, on a not-too-busy Friday evening. I walked over, and arrived to find the restaurant busy, but far from overwhelmed. Still, it took several minutes for someone to notice me, and then find me a table, though several were available. I waited at my table for about 5 minutes before my drink order was taken, and only a few minutes later I received the pint of Amstel that I had ordered.
That was the last interaction I had with the staff. I browsed the menus and beer list for a while, translating descriptions manually (as no English menu is available, but we're in NL so whatever), waiting for someone to ask what I wanted to eat, or if I wanted another beer. After awhile I stopped browsing the menu, and did my best to make sure the wait staff could see my empty glass and empty table. After 45 minutes, my table had not been set with silverware, my beer glass was very empty, and I had not been approached (or acknowledged) by the wait staff. So I put €5 on the table and walked out.
The food looked good (from what I could see on the plates of other patrons), and I looked forward to trying beers new to me, but I left sorely dissatisfied and with an empty stomach.
