To be honest the food is a bit disappointed. Lacking some “Thai” flavor, the red curry just too normal. And the waiting time is too long!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just.....wow! Found this through The Fork app and decided to make a reservation because we love Thai food. I can tell you: we were NOT disappointed! I have never eaten Thai food so close or even better than the original anywhere.
Super clean open kitchen with nothing but fresh ingredients strewn around, exceptionally nice and accommodating personnel who will go out of their way to help you pick the right combination of dishes. Don't go for the set menu: ask for advice and get a table full of goodies that you can enjoy for hours on end.
Thai food needs to be served at the same time and enjoyed bite by bite across all dishes: they understand this here. I am so taken away by this place: everything was fresh, true to the original and not necessarily adapted to Western tastes: you will get the real Thai deal! This may have been the high point of my culinary experience in 2020. It reminds me of my trips to Asia. Thanks to all at Cho Fah Eat Thai for the best experience, the kindness, the service and making our evening one to remember! I absolutely loved this!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of if not my favorite restaurant in town, a truly beautiful venue with a very very welcoming staff, the manager has always been very polite and helpful and the waiters and waitresses are lovely. The food is exceptional with a lots of options and an excellent Thai cuisine. I would recommend this place to anyone living in Groningen or passing by!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great ambience, authentic quality and good service. I had the vegeretrian menu for dinner and I loved it. I was pleasantly surprised by the sweet rice dessert with mango and ice cream. What a great combo. Cho Fah is not cheap, but I wouldn't even say it is overly expensive either. The two of us had a 4 course menu, plus wine and we ended up paying about €80 euro together, very reasonable. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you're into Thai food and happen to be in Groningen!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As always, amazing food. There are so many delicious things on the menu that I can't really recommend specific ones, but this time we went for Niaw Somtun Kai, Pad Pong Karie and Khouw Nieaw. Great food right around the corner from Grote Markt, warmly recommended!
