★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De Dirk is over het algemeen een ontzettend leuke winkel met een goed assortiment en nog betere aanbiedingen. Deze specifieke winkel is op het eerste oogpunt niets mis mee, de locatie is top, je kunt inpandig parkeren en droog de boodschapjes doen en inladen. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam én de prijzen zijn goed, een Dirk in Groningen zou niet misstaan.
Hetgeen dat wel wat teleurstellend is het feit dat een aantal aanbiedingen vaak niet aanwezig of voorradig is, soms zelfs helemaal niet geleverd. Daar kan deze winkel an sich ook niets aan doen, echter kan het voor de doorsnee klant welke vaak toch een eind moet reizen als vervelend worden ervaren.
Het is en blijft een prettige winkel, maar de lege schappen en dan voornamelijk bij de aanbiedingen is wat spijtig.
 De Dirk is generally a very nice store with a good range and even better offers. At first sight there is nothing wrong with this specific store, the location is great, you can park indoors and do your shopping and load it dry. The staff is friendly and helpful and the prices are good, a Dirk in Groningen would not be out of place.
What is somewhat disappointing is the fact that a number of offers are often not available or in stock, sometimes not delivered at all. This store in itself cannot do anything about that, but it can be experienced as annoying for the average customer who often has to travel a long way.
It is and remains a pleasant store, but the empty shelves, especially with the offers, is a bit of a shame.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dirk van den Broek is a budget supermarket very centrally located in Assen. Apart from the usual foodstuffs they also have a varying collection of interesting non-food items for very low prices. I was pleased to buy some high quality Makita toolsets here for a song. But you definitely have to watch the advertisements AND arrive in time because stock is often limited for these special offers.
