About Het Nieuwe Instituut
Er zijn schokkende berichten over de studentenvereniging A.S.C./A.V.S.V. naar buiten gekomen. Wij zien deze als zeer verwerpelijk. Ons logo is eerder op hun website gezet om het werken bij BZ onder de aandacht te brengen. Wij hebben verzocht ons logo per direct te verwijderen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ During my visit I found this place to be bland and unsure of itself mostly. The building itself is beautiful but all the exhibitions I saw were discreet and dull. However you do however get free entry to Sonneveld House (a wonderful modernist building next door) with your ticket and that is one of Rotterdam's treasures. A must-see. Only visit Het Nieuwe Institut if you have done everything else you want to do in Rotterdam.

Oh also don't miss their bookshop! It's very worth the visit too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their exhibitions are experimental, bold, creative, expansive and with many profound meanings. I couldn't agree more to the use of the word "Institute" instead of "Museum". I'd be so proud of this place if I had been living in Rotterdam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Many good events and lectures are organised by the Instituut, however if you are looking for a nice exhibit of Dutch architecture that is NOT the place to go to. Exhibitions are pretty small and the best one was not relevant at all, though pretty good. 4 out of 5 for events and 3/5 for the displays.
