★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We hebben voor weinig geld heerlijk gegeten. Jammer dat de vegetarische kaart gerenoveerd werd, dus de keuze viel voor twee vegetariers op pappardelle.
Gelukkig was er kraanwater en lekker brood vooraf.
De carnivoren waren zeer tevreden over de ossenhaas en de rundstoofschotel. Uitstekende patat en heerlijke gebakken aardappeltjes. Beetje schamele groente.
Rode wijn was te warm, maar wel goed van smaak.(Syrah)
De serveerster was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
 We ate delicious food for little money. Too bad that the vegetarian menu was renovated, so the choice was made for two vegetarians on pappardelle.
Fortunately there was tap water and tasty bread in advance.
The carnivores were very satisfied with the tenderloin and the beef stew. Excellent fries and delicious baked potatoes. Little paltry vegetable.
Red wine was too hot, but it had a good taste. (Syrah)
The waitress was very friendly and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visiting Grandpa's is a must when you visit the eastern dock neighbourhood in Amsterdam.
It is a by family runned restaurant with honest and very professionally provided food. You will be absolutely stunned when you are a spareribs lover. The chef is also good for many other lovely items on the menu.
And do enjoy the good wines and the friendly waiters.
