★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Afgelopen week 2 nachtjes in Hotel Flora Batava overnacht. Eerste indruk was al niet wat we verwacht hadden. Het personeel achter de receptie was meer bezig met zichzelf en de collega's dan de klant. Ze waren tijdens het inchecken erg chaotisch. Toen we eenmaal de hotelkamer binnenkwamen miste wij het een en ander.
Er was geen zeepje aanwezig om je handen mee te wassen en er was ook geen afstandsbediening.
We hadden gereserveerd voor het diner. Het duurde ongeveer 15 minuten voordat wij ons eerste drankje konden bestellen. Het personeel was nogal onderbezet.
Het voorgerecht tonijn tataki was niet verkeerd. Het hoofdgerecht daarentegen was dramatisch. De eenbenborstfilet was enorm taai en het duurde meer dan een uur dat wij het hoofdgerecht kregen.
Prijskwaliteit is dit zeker geen aanrader!
 Last week we spent 2 nights in Hotel Flora Batava. First impression was not what we expected. The front desk staff was more concerned with themselves and the colleagues than the customer. They were very chaotic during check in. Once we entered the hotel room, we missed a few things.
There was no soap to wash your hands with and there was no remote control.
We had reservations for dinner. It took about 15 minutes before we could order our first drink. The staff were quite understaffed.
The tuna tataki appetizer was not wrong. The main course, on the other hand, was dramatic. The duck breast was extremely tough and it took us over an hour to get the main course.
Price-quality, this is definitely not recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heel fijn verblijf gehad. Zeer mooi hotel op een mooie locatie. Kamer was modern en zeer schoon. Ontbijt op de kamer was uitgebreid en allemaal vers. De medewerkers zijn allemaal erg vriendelijk. Komen graag een keer terug.
Had a very nice stay. Very nice hotel in a nice location. Room was modern and very clean. Breakfast in the room was extensive and all fresh. The staff are all very friendly. Would love to come back sometime.
