Lexi's Coffee & Bakery - Rokin 65

Normally I won't write or rate any places here on Google however for this Coffee and Bread Bar I would like to make an exception. From the outside it looks really cool however if you enter the bar you feel yourself not welcome at all. Service in this bar is I from what I believe the baddest in all of Amsterdam. They even dare to put a bowl for tips on the bar, I think they don't even know what service is. We had 2 coffee's at the bar which we had to get our selves, instead of bringing them to us, they just said "2 coffee", no asking for sugar, milk, or anything instead, no word afterwards of "everything oke" or whatsoever. After our coffee we tried to order a second time, 2 pies, a water and a hot tea. Also without bringing it to our tables. In the meantime several customers went in and leaving their cups of coffee and plates with pies on the table, without anyone of the staff would take care of cleaning the tables or taking away the cups and plates. we seated there for 2 hours, and by leaving the personnel didn't greet us by thanking us or anything. As a local from Amsterdam I feel really bad about this place, inside there was one Italian girl working there who had only eyes for her friends who probably came to visit her that day, instead of keeping her show clean and everything. I think this place is an awful place to give anyone (tourists or locals) a warm welcome to Amsterdam. Don't go there, spend your money elsewhere.

I'm one of those people who loves and needs a really serious flat white, not just any old coffee. This place is outstanding!!! Fantastic strong coffee made to perfection, and the sandwiches were excellent too. Will be coming here all week to get my fix!

Really great cakes an pies. All my favourite kinds. Difficult to choose. Nice people, and nice place to sit down and watch the people go by.

Perfect to enjoy a coffee or anything else and watch the city life happening right in front of you. The pancakes were delicious!!!

We found this Café by accident and it was such a nice surprise. Despite it being pretty full we were still able to sit down and enjoy waffles and hot chocolate. The food and drinks were incredibly good and the atmosphere was so nice. ?

Make very nice coffees and very friendly staff. I like that they actually properly ask for my QR code!! Well done everyone!

Me and my friends came very hungry, the cafe is cool and with pleasant atmosphere. We order one sandwich with fresh and tasty tuna salad and it was enough for both of us, 2 delicious and hot Latte Makiato coffees. And also a lekker cheesecake for dessert. A little less sweet and it would be perfect, the staff is nice and service is excellent.
