★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worst experiences I had as a tourist. I was given a menu in Dutch and when I asked if there was one in English, the waitress simply said “no” and walked away. I ended up using google translate and ordered a “gamba salad” - google couldn’t identify the word, but I figured it was a vegetable. Turns out it means prawn, which is unfortunate for me as a vegetarian. I didn’t feel comfortable giving it back despite the fact that IMO the waitress should’ve offered help with translating the menu, but I still expected her to at least acknowledge the fact that the salad remained untouched when I paid the bill. Instead, she charged my card, smiled and walked away. It’s a shame that the service is poor because the place really does look nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Inside very claustrophobic and hot. Service was struggling but friendly. Food was ok but mostly overengineert. Some of the dishes completely lost its character eg carpaccio served with (overly hard) baked bacon takes away the pure flavor of raw beef and annoys with the textures.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food, great service for a good price. Wife was really happy with the food as well. She had the goat cheese beignet and the big brabo burger. I helped out with the fries. I had a healthy pancake with fruit which left room for the fries, sadly no more room for deserts (which also sounded great on paper).
