 They give fish that has been fried a while ago, lukewarm and limp and then also very expensive. So not recommended.

Always tasty fish, fun and knowledgeable! Watch out for seagulls (they also like fish)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having tried herring at several places around town, this fish cart probably has the best herring in Leiden. For me their herring has the correct balance of raw and 'ripe'. It might be a bit pricier than elsewhere but you do get the quality you pay for.
