BEWARE OF THE MENU AND READ WELL, ASK QUESTIONS! As an expat in the Netherlands I'd like to try different Dutch restaurants. This one looked nice, we checked the menu and decided to dine in for dinner. We were welcomed and seated nicely. The waitress told us there is no English menu but she will tell us everything we need to know. That was absolutely fine with us. We found a nice deal on the menu for a big steak suitable for two. She took our order without further explaining something very specific about this item. I believe she mentioned it's a big steak and will cook about 15 min. Steak was cooked well and slightly under seasoned but I guess this is up to personal taste. Once we requested the check we found out the we were double charged for the steak. I told her there is a mistake, but surprisingly it was't she said. The price was apparently per person. So you do the math...! She pointed to the item in the menu showing me "p.p" in the end of the text. So... I should have read that and know this means "per person". First of all, it's hard to notice, second of all, she told us will explain everything but forgot to mention the most important thing about the item - the price (considering was doubled), third of all, this is not a steak house and the price for this steak is absolutely ridiculous. I only said "fine" and paid my bill accordingly, and is not about the money, it's about those stupid selling tricks that I hate very very much. I don't know why people do that. Just put the price as it is and let the customers decide. It's pretty clear what have happened and I am extremely disappointed from this restaurant. Fact is, we discussed is not a bad place and we could visit once in a while. Well, I think will be once in a lifetime, again, because of stupid selling tricks, and I have to admit, we really felt for it. I remember a manager in a restaurant that told me "It takes a lot to win a customer, and takes just very little to lose a customer forever".

We had a rump steak, pork chop and a topside (?) - sliced tagliata-style. All meat was good. Service was prompt, prices reasonable. Recommended.

I had a late macchiato there. I tasted good but the glass was a bit smal and unconventional for late

We decided to have our wedding dinner here after we had a good experience at this restaurant a week ago. Great service and food, and a unique atmosphere.

Great little place. Service was awesome and so was the food. Highly recommend the Plateau du Poisson. The oysters were a little underwhelming, but the rest made up for it.

Very nice place .We sat outside on a lovely summer evening. Service was great, even though there was only one waiter at the time, he was running his ass off, remained friendly and helpful. Food was good, coffee was nice. I had the small Caesar and the steak. My girlfriend had the carpaccio and the truffle risotto. And of course a nice bottle of wine, we chose a prosecco. Make sure you stop by to eat even though the street is filled with restaurants.

Nice food, very friendly staff, decent prices. I was surprised by their crème brûlée, usually I regret after ordering it in Dutch restaurants but this time round I was served the real thing.
