★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Nine Streets Inn is in the most popular area of Amsterdam. Boutique shops and many restaurants are steps away. Also, the bed in the room is very comfortable. The room is modern and clean. There is a Nespresso machine (with two capsules). The owner Michel is very welcoming and helpful. He lives in the same building. There are two rooms, A and B. Room A is on the streetside and significant street noise can be heard. The night supermarket straight opposite the house is open until 2 AM. Around 6 AM morning deliveries start coming. There is no airconditioning, so it may be needed to keep the windows open. Two steep stairs need to be negotiated, normally not a problem but something to take into account. A few basics are missing in the room ... glasses, a mat in the bathroom, bedside tables. Unless booked beforehand, no breakfast is provided. Overall it was not unpleasant but a bit expensive for what it delivers.

One disadvantage is test it can be at bit loud outside
