Very high quality products with higher prices. There's no much variety. Good place anyway.

Editing my review from 4 stars to a measely 1. In order to maintain social distancing, and so as not to hold up the line, I chose not to pack my groceries at the till but instead I reloaded them into my basket so I can pack them at the packing table, thereby allowing the clerk to help the next customer. There was unused space beside the packing table where I left my basket, my hands all full with shopping, and as I was leaving, a middle-aged cashier lady, heavy-set, curly hair, with glasses, NO MASK, from 3 aisles away (so, not even the aisle I just checked out from), busy in the middle of helping her own client, screamed across the crowd, all eyes on me at a busy hour, to ORDER me to put the basket on the other side of the cashier, which meant I had to leave all my stuff at the packing table, go back to the entrance, and leave my basket there. In this time of crisis, it is crucial to maintain social distancing and other anti-COVID precautionary measures, and where there isn't a clear-cut rule the situation behooves us to use COMMON SENSE. No wonder Rotterdam is a COVID HOTSPOT. I am a loyal shopper at this Plus, despite the fact that they are NOT as cheap as they claim to be, I shop there anyway, partly because of the convinience, partly because of the friendly service--friendliness that I think I deserve, as does any other customer, but MOST OF ALL loyal customers who've spent thousands of hard-earned money at their business establishment helping to keep them EMPLOYED. If you're not going to be friendly, at least use some common sense, and if you don't have common sense, at least learn the word RESPECT. If you can't do any of these, qualities which any NORMAL person is expected to have, then you are NOT even qualified to work behind the cash register where your job description is to scan and smile--THAT'S IT. You should not be allowed to face thousands of strangers a day because you probably can't treat the few close to you with respect. Most of the other staff are friendly, but from now on I'll choose to bring my business elsewhere. The uglier they are, it seems, the less friendly too. While the rest of the staff do their utmost best to represent their company, she doesn't seem to care. This lady should go back to customer service training before she's allowed to wear the company name. I've actually seen the same lady being unfriendly to her younger colleagues--I hope she's not the manager! Good thing she's not around too often, perhaps because of complaints, but even on the rare occassion that she is there, she even manages to ruin the day. It wasn't only that what she wanted me to do did not make any sense COVID-wise, it was also the way she said it, no "please", no respect, it's like I committed some crime, like peeing on her wall. I wish they would install self-scan counters because evan a machine is friendlier than this lady. I spend at least a thousand euros worth of groceries at this place, and I have been for more than a year since I moved, 15,000 bucks I'm taking somewhere else. I know, a big company won't even feel this, I'm just lose change, but at least I'll have said my piece and discourage some people from patronizing an establishment who already scores low because of service anyway, something I used to find surprising--NOT ANY MORE!

Go-to supermarket for unique drinks (especially for canned beers), delicious cheese and quite good vegan/vegetarian food options.

It's a classy grocery store. I'm not a regular just because they don't accept any credit cards. There's a coffee machine available inside so it's excellent place to warm up while shopping.

An unassuming supermarket with a good selection of food. Hidden inside is one of the best craft beer ranges in the city. A real gem and worth a trip for more than just the usual supermarket beer offering.
