Not a bad restaurant. Staff is friendly and food is okay. Lots of different seating options make it feel a lot smaller than it actually is. Staff is friendly and quick. Food is okay but don't expect high level gastronomy.

Well I am keeping in mind that we are currently still in "Corona times" and that many things are slightly different from "normal". My wife and I decided to take our children here, we read that it was a really good family friendly restaurant and that they have an excellent menu. Made a reservation and at 17:00 we arrived, we were welcome by a host whom first did the pre entrance check and asked us to disinfect our hands at a station set up for the task. We were allowed to sit where we wanted as we are a family living in one household. So we chose a table net to the window at the front of the restaurant. Shortly after a waitress arrived with menu's and the question of what we wanted to drink. We ended up ordering a mixed grill for two people, the kids had children's meals. This is when I was let down, the mixed grill consisted of 1 chorizo sausage, 1 piece of lamb, 1 piece of tenderloin (tiny in size) and 1 chicken filet. Besides that for 2 people 4 pieces of meat which are small sized isn't enough to complete my disappointment half of it was lukewarm and the chicken filet was stone cold. They replaced it for a freshly prepared one but that didn't taste much better. Oh I nearly forgot the corn on the cob, two small half sized pieces of which both were pretty charred on the grill. I don't mind food being slightly overdone but this was burnt to a crisp. Personnel was really friendly and attentive but the food was a major disappointment.

I really want to leave a positive review, because the food was really good. But that was all that was positive of our visit. We took the 'Sharing dinner', because we like to be surprised. It was a bit more expensive at 28 euros than we would usually do, but we were on vacation, so lets just do it. The first surprise was that fries were not included in this menu, you have to order them additional to the menu. Like I said earlier, the chef was really good, of the 12 dishes (13 if you count the additional fries) that passed our table, 11 we found really good, and the other one was fine, just not that outstanding. But the staff was, bluntly put, horrendous. The place was overstaffed that friday, yet it took at least 20 minutes for our 2(!) drinks to arrive at our table. At the same time, nearly always there was at least one server doing nothing behind the bar. The boy pouring the drinks made all sanitary mistakes while tapping beer: tap touching glass (ew), tap emerged inside the beer in the glass (EW!), skimming the foam of the beer INTO the glass (not once, but 5(!) times per glass) (Well that beer is dead before it left the bar), tapping the skim-spoon onto the bar to get the foam off (GOD NO!). We decided we would skip the beer in favor of wine. We also watched staff wash their hands in the sink of the tap once, and wipe their hands on their pants. (In our view, EW!) All the staff simply looked like the did not want to be there. At all. Manager included. Or we presumed him to be the manager at least. He barely did anything at all that evening. I can see why the staff is poorly trained. When the server came by our table, they were gone before we could ask for a refill. When you try to catch their eye to order, she sheepishly acknowledges you try to catch her eye, then hastily looks away. It was a mess. Not to mention dropping the cleaning tissues in front of us on the floor, then proceeds to pick them up and deliver them to two tables down the road. It looks disgusting, even if it might be sanitary. The menu was way to large, not only because we had to order fries separately. I felt bloated until we went to bed, and we didn't even finish the desert, because it was way too much. The menu was also WAY out of balance, we got 70% meat/fish, 20% fries and 10% vegetables. And the fries were not even in the menu itself. We tried to give feedback on the imbalance of the menu in the end (and that we found it to be weird that there were no fries (or other potato's/rice/pasta) in the menu, and that it was simply too much. We were not trying to get a discount, but were met with a very unprofessionally and annoyed 'But otherwise we cannot let you taste our ENTIRE menu!'. I don't care if the sharing dinner touches your entire menu, I want to get a taste of different things you have to offer, as well as a balanced meal (which I think is fair for 28 euros). I really want to like this restaurant, but 76 euros for 2 people with 2 drinks each, is NOT a price worth paying. I'd reccomend La Cubanita, 2 doors down the street, which serves the same quality, with better service, for a lower price. And the staff doesn't look like it doesn't want to be there....

The food was delicious. We were there with a big group and had to wait a long time for our food, so it's not great for big groups. The staff was nice.

Eat here often when in Amersfoort, food and service are always amazing

Food is nice but waiting time is extremely long.

Took way too long, iced coffee is just cold Coffee with whipped cream, bacardi sunrise is just warm juice with immediately melting ice cubes and 0 alcohol. Service was very friendly though.

Great meal, but since the restaurant is somewhat new there were some minor issues with delivering food on time. Great staff though!
