She sees what is important to you and takes this into account during the clean-up and decluttering process. Her help has created more space in our living room and we know exactly where the supplies are for our creative projects. As a result, we create more. I am very happy with her help.

She started with clearly communicating the entire process before the session, and preparing me for the session well. The follow up after the session also helped me stay accountable and keep my goals in reach. What this means is that when you hire Maria, it is isn't only about the session itself- but you are given opportunities to learn and develop before and after as well. With a clean and well organized space I feel I have less stress and a feeling of peace instead of being overwhelmed when I go into our storage space. Maria is passionate about what she does, and it shows. She is also good at it, thinking of solutions I would have never seen. Her rationale in organizing is also practical and makes so much sense! She is a very non-judgemental and easy going presence, yet she makes sure you take action in a good way. I chose the kitchen, as it has always been my stumbling block. It used to be a cluttered place that I never seemed to get properly clean or organised. With Maria's help it transformed into a space that I actually enjoy using. Maria patiently helped me let go of things that I actually had not used for years: we ended up recycling 6 large bags of kitchen clutter! She helped me visualise what I actually wanted to do with the space, and helped me see how to achieve the result I wanted. She was stern but also compassionate, she made me critically look at what I have and helped me make smart decisions regarding what I really need and want to have around. She even helped my daughter to organise her play kitchen in the same way! Maria also came up with tips and ideas on how to organise the pantry so that you can with one glance see what you have. I was quite surprised to find out I had 5 (!) opened bags of cous-cous lurking around, just because I could never find anything in the pantry... Now it is much easier to plan meals too! I cannot believe my kitchen has stayed organised for more than a month already! Together we created space for the items that I actually love and use daily. I recommend A Place for Space by Maria for all those like me, who need a nudge in the back when it comes to organising. Organising does not need to be boring, and the best part is that you don't have to do it alone!

She was patient, and practical, and tried to find out first what would be best for me, and then we worked with that to create a fabulous spot, easy to clean and organize, and with all the things I need for my workday within easy reach. She further inspired me to sort through a massive stack of papers, organize a closet and re-arrange my room - she has great tips and advice for multiple kinds of space and organizational needs!
