Een echte aanrader voor wie wil overnachten in zuidwest Friesland in de nabijheid van de vele meren. Ruime kamer, schoon, prima sanitair en bedden. De ontvangst allerhartelijkst. Het uitgebreide ontbijt wordt persoonlijk voor je uitgeserveerd. Maurits en Inge maken er iets van en letten goed op je privacy. 85 euro een heel nette prijs voor een uitstekend adres . En als je dan per ongeluk een oplader hebt laten liggen dan wordt ie de volgende dag naar je huisadres gezonden. Zonder kosten door te berekenen. Dat is nou service! Last Tuesday I stayed in B & B "The Haven" in Woudsend. Highly recommended for those who want to stay in southwest Friesland in the vicinity of many lakes. Spacious room, clean, good bathroom facilities and beds. The warmest reception. The extensive breakfast is personally served for you. Maurice and Inge make something and pay attention to your privacy. 85 euros a very nice price for an excellent address. P	Philip Henssen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wij hebben met erg veel plezier hier twee nachten overnacht. Beide kamers waar wij verbleven waren zeer netjes en van alle gemakken voorzien. Centraal gelegen in Woudsend, en tegelijkertijd een zeer rustige ligging. Wij hebben de lokale molen in Woudsend bezocht (op loopafstand), en verder diverse activiteiten gedaan in de nabije omgeving. De bedden sliepen fijn, het ontbijt was heerlijk, de gastheer en gastvrouw waren zeer hartelijk - kortom: wij komen zeker weer een keer terug! We have spent two nights here with great pleasure. Both rooms where we stayed were very neat and fully equipped. Centrally located in Woudsend, and at the same time a very quiet location. We have visited the local mill in Woudsend (within walking distance), and have also done various activities in the nearby area. The beds slept great, the breakfast was delicious, the host and hostess were very cordial - in short: we will definitely be back!

Denn der Frühstückswagen wird auf das geräumige und saubere Zimmer gebracht - von der Gastgeberin, der man die Freude ansieht, mit der sie die großzügige Vielfalt zusammengestellt hat. Mit Abstand das beste B&B, das wir kennen. . We are free and decide for ourselves when we want to have breakfast in the morning. And this without an audience. W	Wesley Flaman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ik heb hier samen met mijn vriendin een fantastisch verblijf gehad. De ligging is heerlijk aan het water. Het idyllische dorpje zelf heeft ook genoeg voorzieningen en terrasjes. De kamer is groot, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. De familie die het beheert is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We hebben er ook elektrische fietsen gehuurd, die waren splinternieuw waarmee de 60km die we afgelegd hadden een piece of cake/suikerbrood was. Absolute aanrader! I had a fantastic stay here with my girlfriend. The location is wonderful on the water. The idyllic village itself also has plenty of amenities and terraces. The room is large, clean and fully equipped. The family who run it are very friendly and helpful. We also rented electric bicycles there, they were brand new with which the 60 km we had covered was a piece of cake / sugar loaf. Highly recommended!

N	Nahid Richter on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently spent a week at Aan de Haven and it was fantastic! The rooms were spacious, a copious breakfast was served on the associated pateau outside and the service and friendliness could not have been better. OK, the weather helped a lot and breakfast outside might have been difficult inthe rain but in view of the service, it is almost certain that an alternative would have been found. Parking was no problem, the location was right next to the harbour and very close to the supermarket (100m) and a number of restaurants for lunch and dinner (50-200m). We came with the entire family (3 children) and were surprised at how much there was to do and experience "in the middle of nowhere". Woudsend has a lot of interesting points for its small size: two windmills, sailing clubs and two large lakes nearby. The canal bridge, frequently raised and lowered for the boats, is another tourist attraction for those not used to these things (the locals probably find it pretty boring by now!). We visited the local fun park (half an hour's drive), went to scenic locations (Leeuwarden, Heeg, Giethoorn) and on boating trips. The week passed all too quickly. In summary, we will definitely return and do all the things we didn't have time for the first time round. And there is no doubt that we will book Aan de Haven again!

Private parking just meters from the front door with a secluded area for sitting outside. Well appointed, clean and comfortable room where you are served an excellent breakfast. Great coffee and fantastic croissants. The clove flavoured cheese was wonderful with a unique and subtle flavour. There are excellent amenities nearby and you are situated just a few meters from a delightful little harbour with pleasure craft of all types coming and going. We tried 3 excellent local bar/ restaurants with great local foods and drinks, especially sitting on the banks of the canal. The fascinating sawmill that is powered by a windmill on the canal bank is well worth a visit. It only operates on a Saturday but is one of the last few in Holland still cutting/sawing. Finally our thanks to our hosts Maurits and Astrid Vinke who were perfect hosts. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.
