About Abel. Grand café restaurant
Drie jaar later kwam de volgende uitdaging op het pad van het uitbaterechtpaar. Brasserie Abel werd onderdeel van de GasteRhoon Holding, vanaf dat moment gezamenlijk eigendom van meester-kok Ad Janssen en Remco en Sigrid Abel. De GasteRhoon Holding besloeg op dat moment al Het Kasteel van Rhoon, Restaurant Biggo en Het Wapen van Rhoon. Om duidelijk te maken dat de brasserie nu onderdeel uitmaakte van een grotere groep, kreeg het restaurant een nieuwe naam: Orangerie De Rhoonse Grienden. Vier jaar lang opereerde het restaurant onder deze naam en kreeg het horecabedrijf steeds meer bekendheid onder de inwoners van Albrandswaard en omgeving. Het restaurant dat ooit gestart was als brasserie, was nu ook te boeken voor diverse partijen zoals bruiloften, bedrijfsuitjes en familiedagen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A BBQ with people of the office. Our planning was to have a Pitch and Putt before but because of weather conditions we canceled this part. BBQ was OK except for the fact that we had to do the BBQ ourselves. But this was arrange by somebody this way so nothing to blame Abel.
