★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ik had een afspraak gemaakt, maar ik was 10 minuten eerder aanwezig. Een medewerker gaf aan mij niet te willen helpen. Ik moest maar 10 minuten wachten, want anders zou zijn agenda helemaal in de war raken. Er was echter niemand in het bankgebouw behalve ikzelf en een viertal medewerkers. Na mij kwam een oudere dame binnen. Ook zij was te vroeg en kreeg ook van dezelfde medewerker te horen dat ze maar moest wachten. Uiteindelijk ben ik uitstekend geholpen door een aardige dame. De mannelijke medewerker kan mijns inziens misschien beter een baan zoeken waarbij contact met andere mensen minimaal is.
I made an appointment, but I arrived 10 minutes earlier. An employee indicated that he did not want to help me. I only had to wait 10 minutes or else his schedule would get messed up. However, there was no one in the bank building except for myself and four employees. After me an elderly lady entered. She too was too early and was told by the same employee to wait. In the end, I was helped very well by a nice lady. In my opinion, the male employee might be better off looking for a job where contact with other people is minimal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nieuwe rekening openen via app. Maar de app stopt bij de identificatie. Ook bij gebruik van een ander telefoons.
'We werken alleen met de app dus we kunnen u niet helpen'. Geen enkele oplossing of meedenken, terwijl je daar op kantoor staat met de relevante id-bewijzen. Zorg dat een app dan volledig werkt als je geen andere oplossing hebt. Dit is zo slecht.
Open a new account via app. But the app stops at the identification. Even when using another telephone.
"We only work with the app so we can't help you." No solution or thinking along, while you are in the office with the relevant ID documents. Make sure an app works completely if you have no other solution. This is so bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Applying for the loan:
1: If you are not Dutch citizen but you are still member of an EU country there is almost no chance to get a loan.
2: My wife and I work and live in Netherland for almost two years and we have permanent full time contracts and also we have our private company.
3: All our accounts are opened at ABN Amro and they can see all of our income. But like they said to us on the first appointment: if you don't have Dutch passport it's a very low chance to get loan ( even if it is a small one ).
4: Reason why am I writing this is:
- We wait almost 3 weeks to get an answer - we called bank multiple times and always the same answer: as soon as possible we will get back to you.
By bank policy it's 5 working days.
- Call center cut the line when you start asking to much questions.
- When you send private documents via e-mail to the bank officier you don't get any answer or confirmation.
- You don't get coffee because they forgot but everyone else got.
- When I told bank officer that if I am not compatible to apply then is ok by me. But he was still explaining to me that maybe I can get and that I need to try.
- Why will bank officier tell something like that that:
That decision is on bank management level and if they want you can get it - we see here some sort of discrimination and putting on side people who are not Dutch and who still work, live, and pay all taxes and they are totally without any bad reason in Netherland.
- We are from country who have 10 wars in last 30 years and we just want to live and fell like normal people and if we want to go to school or get our private business to the next level we just need a little support after we showed that we are compatible for that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On Sunday I went to the ABN Amro atm, I just wanted to make a deposit. But the ATM swallowed my money. We have been trying to reach abn ambro for 2 days, but no one is helping. Why was my money confiscated? When will I get my money, Abn ambro put me in a difficult situation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The employees of Abn Amro in Hoofddorp centrum are very rude and racist specially the front desk a young dutch guy being even sarcastic to expats, several times i go while the office is empty no one is there and they refuse to help, and several times i go there and find another expat yelling at them , they are very provocative, i have complained about their attitude to the bank but i found out from other branches that the branch in Hoofddorp is very well known is mistreatment and doing discriminations
