If I could give zero stars I would. Left waiting for hours without acknowledgement past the door.. Security guard is cheerful. Other than this you are left in the waiting area of boredom and demise while the unorganised and inattentive staff wander round with soulless glares and hopeless looks on their faces until they decide to deal with you. Ignored in a hot masked sheep's pen whilst every appointment is taken late although the customers arrive early.. Its no wonder why they are always running behind as they take so long to deal with the simplest of issues if you are lucky enough for them to want to help you. Place is a disaster! I will not be back. Good luck and good day sir

Very helpful service. I came here without an appointment at a very busy time. But they did accommodate me just a little bit of wait. Good service.

Horrendous. I got an error on the internet when trying to use my e.identifier that my pincode was wrong and to take my ID to a local ABN branch. So, I grabbed my ID and went. When I get there I was greeted by a friendly security guard who said I needed an appointment. The error message on the internet didn’t say anything about needing an appointment, so I asked at the desk if they have any appointments for the day. I also asked if an appointment was necessary just to reset a pincode. The man and woman at the desk we’re very rude and short with me. They said NO and just handed me a card with a number to call. ABNAMRO is going wayyyyyy down hill. It was hard to even find a branch to go to and then when I finally get there they are rude. Then when I call for an appointment they say it’ll be weeks to get a slot. I’m 100% unimpressed. Cheers to the lovely security team though. I think they tried to save me from the unfriendly front desk staff. I just didn’t have any idea what I was walking into.

I lost my phone and wallet, and I used my friend’s phone a night before to contact ABN’s customer service to block my card. Customer service told me to go to the store to get a replacement card. However, the doorman wouldn’t let me in, and asked me to make an appointment by phone call. I told him that I have lost everything, but he’s very rude and constantly telling me what’s my problem. I ended up borrowing the phone by the apple store next door to make the following appointment.

Not only are the staff in the ABN AMRO on Leidse plein are incredibly rude, but apparently they also don't know how to do their job. I went here a week ago to block my card that i had lost. When i left, the lady assured me that my card was blocked(After giving me attitude, too), and i got a phone number so i could call with ABN AMRO to get a new card. When i went to call to get my new card fixed, the guy on the line told me that he my card apparently wasn't blocked. Luckily, no money was taken off of it since i last used it. But that doesn't matter; you can't tell people their card is blocked while it isn't! REALLY disappointed.

I really really wish I dont have to come back here ever again. Just hate the unpleasant, unfriendly, and reluctant replacement of what is supposed to be service. Saw the girl there end conversation with a polite Asian guy by basically turning her back on him. I mean, is it because they have too many customers? Or they feel no threat as service at all other banks ( looking at the reviews..) is the same here? Either way, I miss the cash payments more than ever.
