★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hartelijk ontvangen door Tim in zijn mooie restaurant. Er werd mee gedacht en advies gegeven over het eten. Het smaakte heerlijk en de borden waren mooi opgemaakt. Als kers op de taart mochten onze meisjes zelf een toetje maken in de keuken. Echt top, bedankt voor een geslaagde avond!
 Warmly received by Tim in his lovely restaurant. They thought along and gave advice about the food. It tasted delicious and the plates were nicely laid out. As icing on the cake, our girls were allowed to make dessert themselves in the kitchen. Really great, thank you for a successful evening!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zalig gegeten … dus dat was al een lekker pluspunt. Achter de bar werd er gezegd iets zoals “… en dan heb je de spareribs nog niet geproefd…” nou nee, klopt maar we waren zeer voldaan en gelukkig. En nieuwsgierig … dus na een digestieve toch gevraagd of we konden proeven. Overleg met de chef, en allebei gratis een stukje proeven. Dan ben je zeker van je zaak. En terecht ?? SUPER LEKKER ? dus op alle vlakken positief!!!
Delicious food … so that was already a nice plus. Behind the bar someone said something like “… and then you haven't tasted the spare ribs yet…” well no, that's right, but we were very satisfied and happy. And curious ... so after a digestive we asked if we could taste. Consult with the chef, and both taste a piece for free. Then you are sure of your case. And rightly so ?? SUPER TASTY ? so positive in all areas!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tijdens onze vakantie hier beland voor diner met ons gezin met 2 kleine kinderen van 1 en 3 jaar.
Bij binnenkomst erg gastvrij ontvangen door de eigenaar. We werden goed verzorgd door het personeel. Het eten was echt lekker! Goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Vlees was super mals en goed bereid met lekkere smaken. Toen mijn partner zei dat hij de pulled spareribs erg lekker vond van het voorgerecht, bracht de eigenaar nog een sparerib extra voor bij het hoofdgerecht (wat een t-bone stake was).
Iedereen was super lief voor onze kids. Er was speelgoed om ze te vermaken, prima kindermenu (wel grote porties!) en aan het eind een schatkist om een speeltje uit te zoeken. Misschien nog het voorstel om een iets gezondere keuze aan het kindermenu toe te voegen?
Kortom: perfecte avond. Super bedankt!
Ended up here for dinner while on holiday with our family with 2 small children aged 1 and 3.
On arrival very hospitable received by the owner. We were well looked after by the staff. The food was really tasty! Good value for money. Meat was super tender and well prepared with tasty flavours. When my partner said he really liked the pulled spare ribs from the starter, the owner brought an extra spare rib for the main course (which was a t-bone stake).
Everyone was super nice to our kids. There were toys to entertain them, a good children's menu (large portions!) and at the end a treasure chest to pick out a toy. Perhaps the suggestion to add a slightly healthier choice to the children's menu?
In short: perfect evening. Super thanks!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm an American that lived in NL for 3 years, and visit ever once in a while. The Dutch make a lot of great things, but steak isnt usually one of things they are known for. I prefer my steak medium rare, or rare. All of the other steak houses in NL I went to in the past never even bothered to ask how to cook my steak. When that happens, you know right away that its going to be a well done piece of meat, and its going to be destroyed. Sure enough, always comes back well done.
I ordered the T bone (I think... wanted the rib eye, but expected them to ruin it, so got the cheaper cut). The waitress asked how I wanted it cooked, which was a big surprise, and I told her I wanted it rare. I got it seared perfectly and it was pink with a hint of purple. Absolutely perfect. Exactly the way I wanted it. I would have been happy with a hint of pink, but these folks did it right. They know how to cook their meat. Highly recommend them.
