In december 2019 is het project voltooid. Wachten is nu op het herstel van de natuur.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De ADW is sinds 2015 een wandel/natuurgebied/vogelparadijs in ontwikkeling. Dit is een van de weinige plekken in Nederland waar de stroomdalflora zich zal kunnen ontwikkelen. Sinds 16 januari 2020 is het project af. De struinpaden zijn nog in ontwikkeling, tenzij kleiklomp voetjes geen bezwaar zijn. Pas als de plantontwikkeling begint, is het interessant om het gebied te betreden.
The ADW has been a walking / nature reserve / bird paradise since 2015. This is one of the few places in the Netherlands where the river valley flora will be able to develop. The project has been completed since January 16, 2020. The footpaths are still under development, unless clay clog feet are no objection. It is only interesting to enter the area when plant development begins.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In potentie een mooi natuurgebied. Het lijkt echter wel of half Druten hier de hond uitlaat en ook nog vaak los laat lopen tussen de Koniks. Zitten dus minder vogels dan je mag verwachten. De beverburcht maakt weer veel goed.
Gestart bij ingang havenhoofd waar je je eerst een weg moet banen tussen de vele campers door.
Ben benieuwd hoe het zich verder ontwikkeld en of SBB ook gaat handhaven op honden en mountainbikers.
Potentially a beautiful nature reserve. However, it seems as if half Druten walks the dog here and often lets it run loose between the Koniks. So there are fewer birds than you may expect. The beaver lodge makes up for a lot.
Started at the entrance of the pier where you first have to make your way between the many campers.
I am curious how it will develop further and whether SBB will also be enforced on dogs and mountain bikers.

What a beautiful area this is. Nice and quiet, only cyclists and walkers. And besides that, a fantastic view.
