★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super tof om weer geweest te zijn. Echter zie je van best een aantal galeriehouders dat zij elk jaar dezelfde stukken presenteren.
 Very nice to have been again. However, you see quite a number of gallery owners presenting the same pieces every year.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Goede sfeer, makkelijk in gesprek komen met galeriehouders. Internationaal aanwezig, Frans, Duits. Veel bijzondere fotografie( de Nachwacht), beeldhouwwerk, kleinplastiek en bijzondere keramiek en glaswerk, Leerdam.
Good atmosphere, easy to talk to gallery owners. International presence, French, German. Lots of special photography (the Nachwacht), sculpture, small plastics and special ceramics and glassware, Leerdam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Als groentje was ik hier voor het eerst met als doel kennismaking met kunst. Ik ging terug (waarschijnlijk nog steeds als groentje) maar met een geweldig mooi schilderij van Virginie Mezan de Malartic.
De AAFA is echt perfect voor zowel doorgewinterde kunst liefhebbers als groentjes zoals ik. Heel leuk om van alles te zijn: veel uiteenlopende stijlen, kunstenaars en in verschillende prijsklasse.
Organisatie was goed geregeld. Wij waren op zaterdagmiddag en toen was het wel vrij druk. Dat was soms wel vervelend als je voor iets net meer de tijd wilde nemen. De looppaden waren op sommige plekken best smal. Ik zou adviseren om in het vervolg vroeger/eerder op de dag te gaan.
As a rookie I came here for the first time with the aim of getting acquainted with art. I went back (probably still as a rookie) but with a very beautiful painting by Virginie Mezan de Malartic.
The AAFA is really perfect for both seasoned art enthusiasts and novices like me. It's great fun being all kinds of things: many different styles, artists and in different price ranges.
Organization was well arranged. We were there on a Saturday afternoon and it was quite busy. That was sometimes annoying if you wanted to take more time for something. The walkways were quite narrow in some places. I would advise going earlier/earlier in the day in future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great opportunity to see a lot of talented artists under the same roof! Even the artist whose colorful paintings you can see in my photos was creating new ones on the spot which I found quite cool!
The venue is in Noord so this also matches well with the concept of the Affordable Art Fair! The only drawback is that it’s not super spacious so you could feel a bit rushed to go from a booth to booth because it does tend to get busy!
