★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointed, could not get a bar of soap. The only bar of soap available was Dove, a brand I do not like. Also the beer section was almost empty, my favourite beer (Brandt) was not available. When I wanted to use my credit card to pay for our purchases the cashier bluntly told me that they do not accept credit cards. When I mentioned that it is quite normal in other counties to pay with c.f. she replied rather rudely: this is Holland and we do not use cc's. Not impressed with Albert Heijn Egmond!

Accross from this Albert Heijn there is a fantastic Butcher, also a Fresh Seafood Kiosk all on the same floor.
Easy access, wheelchair friendly, ample parking space.

I don't know what more to say about albert heijn's, theyre all really the same.
Nice layout though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Many people not wearing masks even though it is mandatory and the country is under lockdown due to increased number of covid cases. No one is telling the customers to wear a mask as if they did not care about the wellbeing of others.
If you do care about others and need to go shopping there, I recommend to wear a proper mask and beware of the people not wearing them.
Foodwise, it's a good supermarket.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gets crowded easily. Bit narrow aisles which makes keeping a social distance difficult. Self scanning and payment available. Parking is free but limited spaces so I can imagine on weekends and busier days it will be hard to find a place to park your car here.
