★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place is okay, but fruits weren't fresh. Big selection of Frozen foods. Lots of vegan option. But we couldn't pay with Visa or Master card, neither cash. Was very weird. The gave us the receipt at the cashier and we had to take it to the front desk to pay with cash for our products.. Same in an other shop like this, no Visa/Master we had to withdraw cash and pay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although I'm a fan of AH in general this is the worst supermarket ever. They barely have goods and what they sell is most sold out or they forgot to order it. You better visit the Jumbo 100 meters west. They have a bigger assortment and at least they have a proper stock.

Be extra watchful with the weekly specials, often they forget to incorporate discounts ,or place undiscounted products with discounted ones, so CHECK YOUR BILL carefully!
On average, I find 3 mistakes a month, and have to claim the overcharge at the cig counter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First of all the location of this Albert Heijn is very conveniently near to the residential Eastern Dockland neighbourhood and was my nearest supermarket. The selection here is great, the beers are fantastic but compared to the jumbo in the same parade the prices seem to be a bit steep. However otherwise a great supermarket and can sometimes be cheaper than jumbo if you are lucky with the 35% discounts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s 20:05 PM (they close at 20:00), the shop is full of clients. They tell me they are closed. I tell them I just want a Red Bull that I can buy directly in the entrance where there was a line of people waiting to buy cigs or whatever. Really dumb decision. Never coming back
