★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a good supermarket and has most things that would need. One of the downsides I have noticed is that prices are typically higher than other places, for the same quality of stuff.
Also, I totally do not understand why they do mot accept Visa cards (Jumbo does, and so do several other supermarkets) and this is one of the main reasons why I do my shopping mostly elsewhere now. The self-checkout also does not accept visa and sometimes you would have to stay in a long line to pay with cash, for just a few items.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lot of of goods are missing and are also overpriced. The location is quite good. The staff is also pretty friendly.
During Covid-19 Pandemic:
I don't really understand how a little basket will protect you from the virus, since you're obliged to take one per person, but you're not obliged to disinfect your hands nor to wear a mask, which is the main way to protect yourself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really appreciate the self service where you don't need to stand in the regular queues. You scan your shopping items and pay.
Personnel is really helpful, polite and kind, they are always up for a little chat, and in for a laugh. Excellent service, great products and since the renovation a couple years or so back, there's all this space now, widened the aisles, etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Like any other albert heijn, just ok. Alot of people during peak hours. Has self checkout but despite that the staff will have to come and scan most of your stuff. This happened to everyone in the self checkout around 6pm

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this supermarket, close by to my apartment in Hoogbrugstraat just 5mins walking. Friendly staff, especially the guy in the cashier and the girl who sells flowers, she's lovely too. Various choices of meats, packed food, indonesian food, beers, yogurt, dairy products and fresh bakery. Really enjoy myself there!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place for shopping groceries, essential and alcohol but giving 1 star is coz they refuse to accept mastercard or visa card ( debit as well as credit ) only local cards or cash..... big let down for international tourists... in age of globalisation.... this is regressive policy.
