★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They didn't take credit cards or cash.. Just "PIN". cashier looked at me like I was from Mars when I handed her cash for my purchase. Eventually they made an "exception" and took my cash. Weird.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Medium sized supermarket. Conveniently located in the centrum of Oosterbeek. Just like most Albert Heijn stores there is plenty of choice in products. Both A brands and their own Albert Heijn brand are sold here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Denied the right to use my card. Was TOLD by the woman serving me that my cards were fake!!(one of them being my business card) Please tell me Albert Heijn are you accusing me of fraudulent behaviour?? Awful service. Embarassing. Will not return but will follow up these accusations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small supermarket, compared to other countries. I'm from Britain so it was a surprise to find that how little variety they actually sell, but I'm told this is the norm in the Netherlands. The staff seemed friendly and speak a little English which is good. They don't accept card (well they have a card machine but I'm told only Maestro works, but don't take my word for it).
