β β β β β How much water does Albert Heijn actually add to its meat products to increase the weight, so it cis able to increase its profits and up its product price, by adding water? A lot of water, that's how much!! At least 10%. Products like chicken fillet of all quality leaves cartilage with the chicken, in what should be fillet (no bones); their supplier even adds lumps of fat to make up weight, so it costs more... it's exactly the same for some fresh fish products... At least 20% of all of its onions are rotten (inedible) and would not be considered fresh, but a sub-standard product, in some cases, and perhaps considered not fit for human consumption! I understand that some of Albert Heijn's suppliers are squeezed, and need to improve price competitiveness, but not at the cost to the Albert Heijn loyal customer/consumer, surely!
Wake up Albert Heijn, stop increasing your profits with low quality products and excessive use of water in your product.

β β β β β This place is parking hell to be honest, it's a very busy AH as there is a serious lack of supermarkets in that area of the city. Rude shoppers, but usually friendly staff which is surprising considering the chaos of this AH. I only go there if I'm desperate.

β β β β β Good quality of products. Enough discounts on half price items and 1 + 1 free. You can safe a lot getting these products. The probleem that I have is that the bread that I buy(Allison) is finished really soon. If I don't go early I won't find it anymore.

β β β β β Love the products but am very dissatisfied with the lack of supervision regarding the wearing of face masks. Whilst I realise it has not been made mandatory, I counted 6 people walking around without masks and no member of staff asking them to wear one. I am told this is because people abuse them when challenged. Personally I think the government has to make mask wearing mandatory to protect the people who are vulnerable and follow the rules.
My wife and I decided to drive to the store at the De Voorhof Lelystad instead of our short walk to Kempenaar and we were very satisfied with the supervision of mask wearing even though it was extremely busy. A very nice young man was checking everyone entering and we felt very secure. Please take note that we know a number of customers who have had the same misgivings.
My apologies for using English as I cannot explain my frustration properly in Dutch.
