About Alpaca Mountain / De IJspoort

Sinds mei 2012 verkopen wij in de grote poort van de carréboerderij heerlijk ambachtelijk bereid Italiaans schepijs. Naast de boerderij hebben wij enkele zitjes waar u rustig van uw ijsje kunt genieten, en van de alpaca’s in de wei. Daarnaast is er ook voldoende parkeergelegenheid.

Wij hebben altijd minimaal 24 smaken op voorraad. Ons assortiment bestaat uit de nodige smaken Roomijs, maar ook diverse smaken fruitig Sorbetijs (lactosevrij) en enkele smaken fris Yoghurtijs met fruit. Voldoende om te variëren. Maar wij hebben ook Verse Slagroom en u heeft de keuze uit diverse smakelijke hoorntjes. U mag het zeggen.

Wij scheppen uw ijsje standaard in een hoorntje, alleen als u vooraf aangeeft dat u een bakje wilt scheppen we het in een bakje. Dit doen we uiteraard voor een beter milieu, en daarom scheiden wij ons afval dan ook. Let op wij hebben 3 verschillende afvalbakken.

Voor de liefhebbers, wandelaars of fietsers, hebben wij ook handige plastic flesjes frisdrank, water en sportdranken, in totaal +/- 15 verschillende smaken. Kom kijken en laat u verrassen door onze kwaliteit en ruime keuze. Trakteer uzelf op een heerlijk fris ijsje, zeker wanneer u de berg van Sweikhuizen bent opgefietst of gewandeld. Dat heeft u dan wel verdiend.

Ook leuk voor de kinderen: recht tegenover ons ligt een speel/voetbalveld met zandbak en speeltuintje.

Nice place to eat ice cream. You can walk beautifully and it is not yet so touristy that it gets too busy. Keep in mind that you cannot pin.

The game was great fun but the alpaca feeding time was an amazing experience! There was even a baby alpaca to admire. You actually play the game on the same field as the alpacas which a wonderful concept. ❤️
N	Nguyen Nguyen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is such a unique little place to get up close with alpacas. The alpacas were adorable and it was so fun feeding and petting them. We opted for the alpaca golf which is whacking a soccer ball with a clog on a stick ? It was interesting and a good stress reliever actually. You can’t just enter to pet the alpacas so you’ll need to pay for an activity. Everything is CASH only. The owners were nice and the ice cream was delicious. I had the creme brûlée and Kinder ice cream flavors. There are some lovely walking trails in the forest if you walk across the street, to the right behind the restaurant. There is also plenty of free parking here. There is a street lot and parking lots. We didn’t need reservations, but we went around 12:30 on a Saturday and it wasn’t crowded. It got crowded about 2 hours later.
