About us

Introduction

More than 30 years experience in manufacturing and marketing DC and AC battery drive systems and ancillary equipment confirms the success of the Alpatek concept ; the supply of complete electrical drive systems and motors from one company.

Alpatek is able to assist engineers and machine builders from the concept stage through the manufacturing process offering them a wide range of battery supply DC and AC transmission and traction systems systems with sub-assemblies.

Motors only or complete systems with speed controllers , transaxles , gearboxes and batteries are available in a 12-600 volt range with outputs up to 30 kW.

Two manufacturing and assembly sites in the Netherlands combined with components from worldwide suppliers enable us to assemble competetive packages.

The motors and other products are partly sold from stock available from our warehouse in Rhenen/Netherlands , custom built products are subject to leadtimes.

Our long-term involvement with battery drive systems also means that , in case Alpatek cannot offer the product you need for your particular application from our standard range, we have inter-group facilities for designing, machining and prototyping.

Alpatek manufactures and markets a wide range of battery supplied DC and AC motors , both standard IEC and Nema but also custom-built versions.

The basic range includes permanent magnet , Shunt/SEM/Sepex/Series and Compound wound DC motors.

The voltage range covers 12 – 600 VDC , with a power range from 0,05 – 30 kW. and the speed range varies from 180 r.p.m. ( without gearbox ! ) till 5000 r.p.m.

In addition to the DC range of motors battery supply AC systems ( motors with controllers ) have now become available in a wide power range : 24 VAC – 96VAC , 0,2 kW. 30 kW. , 1000 – 4000 r.p.m. These motor systems can easily be combined with various transmission and traction components such as transaxles.

All motors are available with IEC or Nema foot and flange configurations , enclosure may vary from IP00 to IP69K.

Alpatek also supplies a wide range of custom-built motors with very low motorspeeds and shafts and flanges to customer specifications.
