β β β β β Not acceptable!!!
Bought a Mac book pro for my kid student and realized after a few minutes that indeed NL is QWERTY (we are from abroad and the shop knew it). Within hours brought it back. 160 Euros cost for unpacking!!!! Not only illegal but totally uncommercial. Next time @cool blue.

β β β β β Disappointing
Sharing my experience from earlier this year.
A clear example of a brick shop just not getting it. Their website promised a reasonable amount when trading in my old iPhone, and the web site provides clear conditions for trading in. I already set my expectations somewhat lower and did not expect my phone would be assessed as 'grade A'. Grade B was what I thought would have been possible given the terms and conditions Amac's web site, but I actually set expectations for Grade C (just to be on the safe side). In order to trade in you need to go to one of the physical shops. When I arrived at the shop and after a 20 minute wait I was served. After going through a lengthy and tedious sales process, my phone was deemed not eligible for trade in, even though my iPhone complied with the conditions on the Amac website (Grade C for sure). The website even offers a value for malfunctioning (Grade D) and defect (Grade E) phones, and the sales representative in the shop confirmed my iPhone was working perfectly, however they could not trade it in because apparently the screen was scratched too badly. What a joke! I feel it was just a trick to get me to the shop.
For the rest they tried selling me all kinds of stuff I was not interested in (higher spec phone, additional iCloud storage, ridiculously expensive case and screen protector, and a phone insurance). I am the last to blame sales reps for trying to sell, but it should have been clear to the sales rep after 2 minutes I justed wanted the phone as requested, after clearly stating I did not have additional budget nor needs.
I would have been perfectly happy walking out the door with my new phone 5 minutes later after having paid hundreds of EUROs. Instead it took painstakingly long to politely circumvent the sales blah-blah, to finally get to the point of the actual purchase. If only the phone would have been in stock... The sales rep claimed Amac have the largest stock of iPhones in the Netherlands, but the phone I was interested in was not available.
Normally I would have walked away, if the phone had not been a present for my daughter, and I did not want to disappoint her. So I ordered the phone. The good news, the phone arrived the day later, so I returned to the shop to collect it. Unfortunately, again a 20 minute wait during which overheard a conversation with another customer: again, phone not in stock!
With this kind of service level I am not surprised on-line shopping is getting more popular.

β β β β β Terrible, no service, my mcbook keyboard broke within 6 months and they said " we can't do anything just go to an official apple store, they are the real experts" service is terrible and they do nothing about actual customers. more of a show shop then an actual dealer. I would recommend to order at apples own website. AMAC SERVICE AND POLICY IS TERRIBLE!! DO NOT TRUST!
