Best Asian grocery store in netherlands

J	John E. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great supermarket for primarily asian products. Yhey have some dutch and other products as well. Lots of different products you just can't get in dutch supermarkets. For example 60 different kinds of soja sauce and a hundred kinds of noodles/ramen etcetera. There are always people around who you can ask for help and they are always very friendly in my experience. There is also a snackbar in front of the supermarket. I recommend you explore this shop if you are into asian cuisine!

Grocery is well stocked , though pricey on items which are also available in other groceries. Such as coriander and chillies. Most of the products stocked at Amazing Sang Lee are ingredients to cater South East Asian kitchens : China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia and some items belonging to the Burmese kitchen. Other than perishable items , dry and canned goods Amazing Sang Lee stocks kitchen utensils , cookery books too. Again these are pertaining to South East Asian pantry. Employees are helpful, know their way around the shop, and their products. As all staff are of Chinese origin, don't expect cordial customer service. Neither are they rude. But overtime and me being a frequent visitor I have built a workable relationship and I too have lowered my expectations on customer services. In Netherlands expecting stellar customer services is asking for the moon!

Both smell amazing (which is the first thing you'll notice, it's a warm, spicy, welcoming scent). Personally I've never ordered anything at the snackbar part, but it looks nice and there's often a small row of customers dying to get their order. The supermarket however I'm familiar with, and I can tell you it has all these exclusive things you simply don't see anywhere. Drinks, food, spices, huge bags of rice! Exclusive candy, traditional medication like salves and other things! And most of all it's quite cheap too... I seriously enjoy this place :)
T	Teun Spithoven on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the fried shrimps, they were great. I think €3.00 for 3 fried schrimps is too expensive but maybe that's just me. In de back they've also got a store with a large assortment of eastern food. It was really interesting to see. They have huge bags of rice. They were as large as a bag of cement. They also have a lot of different ramen flavours. Most of the things in this store I had never seen before. I would recommend going in here at least to look around. I think the prices are a bit high. But maybe that's just because of inflation and import costs.
