About Amphia Hospital
Voor patiënten die meerdere dagen in het ziekenhuis blijven, hebben we in totaal 572 ruime eenpersoonskamers op de algemene verpleegafdelingen. Iedere eenpersoonskamer heeft een eigen toilet en doucheruimte. U heeft alle privacy en rust om beter te worden. Daarbij bent u zo ook minder vatbaar voor virussen en bacteriën van andere mensen.
Ouders, van een kindje dat direct na de geboorte een tijdje in het ziekenhuis moet blijven, gebruiken onze gezinssuites. Dit zijn kamers waar ze samen als gezin kunnen blijven.

β β β β β Absolutely ridiculous. The woman at the desk would not allow us to be seen by a doctor, even though she was in terrible pain with a high fever. Insisted on speaking to another doctor and was refused. Told that no one will help us. Terrible excuse for an emergency room, go anywhere else if you can.

β β β β β Newly renovated. Spacious, clean and well-maintained hospital. Multi-storey parking lot - accessible for wheelchairs. A shuttle bus transports patients and visitors to and fro - between the hospital and car park. Clear signage and directions provided. Professional health care service providers. Clear signage. Reception personnel can help with directions.

β β β β β I came in the evening with an 8-month-old baby who was vomiting and having diarrhea. And they refused to accept me because I don't live in Breda! I will never ask for help there again. if something happened to my child, I wonder if they would take responsibility for the lack of help!!

β β β β β One of the worst support. As soon as you start speaking in English, they disconnect the call without letting you know. For the past 1 month, we have been asking them to route the prescription to our new pharmacy, they haven't done it so far and the response is very disappointing.
