Nicola is a native-English speaker with a strong academic background.
She holds a Certificate in Teaching English to speakers of other languages (CELTA).
CELTA is an internationally recognised qualification awarded by Cambridge ESOL, part of the University of Cambridge.
Nicola studied law at Oxford University and completed her training to become a solicitor in London. Before moving to Amsterdam she worked for nine years at Allen & Overy, a major English law firm, the majority of the time in the corporate department. In Amsterdam she has had a number of in-house legal jobs, including working at Elsevier and ABN AMRO.
A fluent Dutch speaker, Nicola’s background and skills mean she is comfortable teaching English to a wide range of audiences within the business and legal world.
