★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Getting around Amsterdam and the whole country you will need to use the public transportation system which is very good. Amsterdam Centraal Station is the main station for getting around the city and traveling in any direction. It's a little confusing your first time here, but once you figure out where you are going, the times and track locations, you'll be fine. It will take you one day to figure it out. This station is very busy. Anyone going into Amsterdam is going through here. Be prepared for a lot of people moving in all directions. This place is very big, so if you have children, keep an eye on them or hold their hand. The staff is friendly and willing to answer questions and help out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most beautiful and busiest city of Netherlands. There is good transportation facilities all over the city. You can reach every corner with public transportation. The central station is packed with restaurant and eateries clubs, bar and shopping centre. Also several boat cruise are available for boat tour of the city in good prices. Several famous museum are also located in the city to explore history art and culture. Most of the people understand and speak English which is most important thing for international travelers. Overall Amsterdam is the one of the top destination everyone should visit.

The city is beautiful and a role model for its friendliness for pedestrians and bicycle owners. The architecture is spectacular and amazing. Being there after a motorcycle trip through Europe was an astonishing experience.. looking forward to revisit the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huge impressive station located in partly old partly modern building. so many different shops and transportation possibilities. 12 minutes from the Schipol airport. If you come too early no worries as you can still shop here. Very close to major tourist attractions and hotels. However I gave it only 4 stars as there should be more toilets closer by.
