A	Andrew T on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came in for a full shave. I left with multiple cuts on my face and still had some short stubble hairs. Also, the shop was very filthy. The countertops were very dusty and hairy and looked like they had not been cleaned in months.

R	Reinout te Brake on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is always a nice moment in time. Going to Amsterdam Dandy. A nice mini break, you walk in, hear the music, sit down and get a super treatment. In my case beard and hair. The moment I am waiting for is the warm towel. As I am in a backwards laying position in the chair, I instantly feel a vibe of calmness. One hour of relaxing but also catching up on news and other happenings, make it that times flies...too fast. Walking outside, after I am done, gives me always the feeling that I am rise and shine. Mission completed! I just look dandy. Period!

I frequented many barbers in town but he left a lasting impression because of the passion and dedication to his craft. I was so impressed by this guy that I decided to keep visiting him when he opened his very own barbershop in Haarlem. A couple of years later he has a full house of equally amazing staff with just as much passion and friendliness as he himself has (Birds of a feather flock together eh?) You always get offered a drink upon arrival, there's always amazing music in the background and the overall vibe is amazing no matter what day of the week it is. People tell me i'm crazy to skip all the amazing barbers in my own neighbourhood to go all the way to Haarlem but when you know you know.

Turns out that we had no problem communicating and understanding each other. Jurgen did an outstanding job. He is a great professional and he was very attentive to all details, he was very kind all the time. There is no doubt that, as long as I keep living in The Netherlands, my next haircuts will be in Amsterdam Dandy :)

What next, dogs at your dentist, perhaps?
