My soil cloning system. After many years of growing (2004) learning from others on YouTube, I experimented cloning with aeroponic, hydroponic, soil, lots of trial and lots of errors and what I honestly consider have moderate success rates. Then one morning tending the garden and seeing the poor results of the last cloning, {aeroponics} feeling the emptiness of my failure I asked out loud "Will you show me a simple system?" A few days later, one morning in the garden I had an AHA moment. "If I am a clone I would want my own home". The answer appeared, my 3rd eye opened for a moment and envisioned what you see now. 99-100% success. I have had 4 cycles since refining this cloning system. Results? 2 cycles 100%, 1 cycle lost 2 clones, 1 cycle lost one clone. Grow box. 4' x 8' x 6.5' 2'x4' and 1/4" plywood Multi port safe strip' 2- 24" 4 lamps each veg grow lights. 2- Timers for each lamp 18hrs light Iron fence shelf for clones, lower for transplants 2 fans for circulation 1 input 1 out put 20- 1 Gallon bottles and cover 20- 4" cloning pots, screw attached to 6"x6" base 1 bag 6-8 quarts seedling starter mix from Ace Mix in proper amount of Azos or Mycos according instructions Super Thrive 1/4 teaspoon and water mix to soak cutting for about 15 minutes before planting the clone. Clonex rooting gel at 2 weeks feed clones. Roots 2-1-1 Transplant clones to 9" pot with Roots Original or Royal King's Mix {expensive but worth it when need fresh top grade soil mix. no need to add nutrients Recent observation. To save $$$. I recycled soil and mixed in Mother Earth 4-5-4 got amazing AMAZING results from the 1st transplant. Grow to about 2-3 ft. then transplant into 12" pot. Grow to about 4-5 feet high. remove from grow box into sheltered garden When hairs 1st appear I begin feeding with Mother Earth 1-8-6. 2 weeks before harvest I feed Alaska 0-10-10 with Cal/Mag Daily routine Open grow box at sunrise. changes during seasons Shut off system during the day save on electric cost. Reset timers start time 6:00pm runs to 12:00am Close doors turn on power to restart at 6:00pm Lights off auto set 12:00am- 4:am 4:00am lights on until open box.
