★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We attended the show De Impresario and it was amazing! This was the first time for us in a real puppet theatre and, by talking to the organisers and puppeteers, we found out how interesting and specialised is the work they do behind the scenes. Certainly an experience to repeat and we stronlgy recommend it for an entertaining evening!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is not a children's thing (only),. Instead the AMT performs classical Opera Operette and musical, with large wire puppets, and professional lighting and sound. Children will have their fun (and are catered for), but this is grown up stuff, and extremely well done. Definitely recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow, never seen anything comparable, so wonderful! It's a very special place and we saw a heartwarming marionette opera (Zauberflöte by Mozart) there. It's in dutch but you won't need the language to enjoy the magic. Beautiful puppets, beautiful costumes, so much music...
So glad we found it!
