★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Onvriendelijk personeel. Pak hier alstublieft geen boek in de handen . Meneer zegt er direct iets van. Ik verontschuldig mij met sorry mijn man met de woorden oké . Waarop meneer zegt ‘ nee niet oké ‘ !!! Het is de toon die de muziek maakt. Jammer ik had 3 keramiek boeken op het oog.
Unfriendly staff. Please do not pick up a book here . Sir immediately says something about it. I apologize with sorry my husband with the words ok . To which the gentleman says 'no not ok'!!! It is the tone that makes the music. Too bad I had 3 ceramic books in mind.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Goed antiquariaat met een aardige sortering en voor competent en behulpzaam personeel. De antiquaar denk mee, weet wat je eerder gekocht hebt en komt met nuttige suggesties. Zonder mijn bezoek aan Kretzschmaar zou het veel langer hebben geduurd voor ik mijn Russische Bibliotheek compleet had!
Good antiquarian bookshop with a nice selection and for competent and helpful staff. The antiquarian bookseller thinks along, knows what you have bought before and comes up with useful suggestions. Without my visit to Kretzschmaar it would have taken much longer to complete my Russian Library!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ook ik moet helaas de mening van eerdere bezoekers die een review geplaatst hebben onderschrijven. De eigenaar behoort tot de meest onaangename personen die ik ooit in het boekenvak heb ontmoet. Ik had 6 titels uitgezocht en vroeg naar een korting. Een redelijke vraag bij zoveel titels die je wenst aan te kopen/ Totaal bedrag was euro 90,--. Dat was helaas niet bedoeling. Het antwoord "UW SOORT denkt maar dat dat normaal is. Toen ik daarop zij dat ik alleen de goedkoopste titel wenste te kopen. Pakte hij de boeken aan , gooide deze achter zich neer en vertelde dat ik ze niet eens meer mocht kopen met de opmerking "Kom nooit meer terug in mijn winkel. UW SOORT!. wil ik niet in mijn winkel .....een regelrechte belediging ( maar de toon en felheid maakte deze opmerkingen alleen nog meer beledigend) . Kretzschmar is een wat mij betreft zeer onvriendelijk maar vooral onaangenaam mens. Het laatste wat ik wil is deze meneer Kretzschmar nog ooit enige omzet gunnen,... laat staan ontmoeten.
Unfortunately, I also have to endorse the opinion of previous visitors who have posted a review. The owner is one of the most unpleasant persons I have ever met in the book business. I had selected 6 titles and asked for a discount. A reasonable question with so many titles you wish to purchase/ Total amount was Euro 90,--. Unfortunately that was not the intention. The answer "YOUR KIND thinks that's normal. When I replied that I only wanted to buy the cheapest title. He took the books, threw them behind him and told me not even to buy them anymore with the comment "Never come back to my store. YOUR KIND!. I don't want in my shop.....an outright insult (but the tone and fierceness only made these comments even more insulting). Kretzschmar is, as far as I am concerned, a very unfriendly but above all unpleasant person. The last thing I want is to grant this Mr. Kretzschmar any turnover ever again, let alone meet him.
