Good food for a very decent price with nice people!! And that on the market of Maastricht, too bad it was so quiet, they deserve better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We zijn er al een paar keer gaan zitten. Vriendelijke bediening die je ook herkent als je weer komt. Heerlijke vlaai en lekker eten. Kortom, wat wil een mens nog meer.
We have sat there a few times already. Friendly service that you will recognize when you come back. Delicious flan and tasty food. In short, what more could one want.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nu voor de 2e keer hier gegeten en gedronken op 5 dagen vakantie in Maastricht. Erg leuke plek om te zitten. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en het eten goed. Er hangt hier een huiselijke zweer en het terras zit op een hoek, waardoor je een erg prettig en ruime indruk krijgt. Je hebt hier zeker waar voor je geld. Ik denk na ervaringen van meerdere terassen, dat dit een van de leukste en voordeligste eetcafés is van Maastricht op een leuke locatie.
Now for the 2nd time eaten and drunk here on 5 days holiday in Maastricht. Very nice place to sit. The staff are very friendly and the food good. There is a homely look here and the terrace is on a corner, which gives you a very pleasant and spacious impression. You certainly have value for money here. After experiences of several terraces, I think that this is one of the nicest and cheapest cafes in Maastricht in a nice location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dit klein dag café (uitgebaat door Pascal en Monique en 1 kelner, Ricardo) met terras is een perfect plekje om een "tosti videeke" te eten.
De tosti is van rustiek brood en er wordt kippenragout overheen gegoten.
Het is een smaaksensatie die je niet eerder hebt gehad.
Uiteraard kun je ook de gewone tostie varianten kiezen, maar deze mag je niet missen.
This small day cafe (run by Pascal and Monique and 1 waiter, Ricardo) with terrace is a perfect place to eat a "tosti videeke".
The sandwich is made of rustic bread and chicken ragout is poured over it.
It's a taste sensation that you haven't had before.
Of course you can also choose the normal toastie variants, but you should not miss this one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very rude service. I was dismissed immediately and told I was not allowed to sit. The service told me all the sitting cushions were soaked as it had just been raining and there were no places left inside. I sat myself at the café next to it and watched how cushions were brought outside for other people to sit on at the exact places I was denied seats. If you want a nice outing in Maastricht, avoid this café! Also, it is not foreigner friendly!
