★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This partly restored town of the Roman era gives a very good impression of the daily surroundings of citizens of those days. Because this was a planned town it shows the rigorous planning and engineering ability for which the Romans were famous. If you've seen Pompey or Ostia you definitely should see this as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely worth the visit. Be sure to check out events going on at the park. We were there for the Roman Weekends and it was really cool to see how people lived in roman times (p.s. be sure to pick up the bread by the bakers). Was fun to also try some roman dishes and wine at The Herberge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place if you're interested in History and archeology. Very interesting. It's a good place to take children, lots of space to run around. There is even a large play ground, built like a roman fort. Thee is a room where you can play roman board games. Inexpensive entrance fee. Ample parking spaces available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every time when I go there I leqrn and find out some new things about Roman life and habbits. It is a perfect place for people with or wothout kids. The park is so big that there is enough plqce to find a quiet place for a picnic.
