Piet Grouls (1958) started working at architecten van Mourik in 1992 as an (interior) architect and researcher and became a director in 2001. From 1989 to 1992 he had his own office in Delft. He was a board member for Stawon between 1997 and 2003 and was the chairman for the Haags Architectuur Café (HaAC) from 1999 to 2005. From 1992 onwards he has been a guest teacher at the Academy of Architecture in Maastricht, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Delft and Aachen University of Technology. Piet graduated in architecture from the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam in 1989 and in interior architecture from the Academy of Arts in Maastricht in 1983.
