★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gill has just moved to a lovely studio on the Lauriergracht which is fully equipped with different types of clay, glazes, mould-making materials, a kiln and spraying area. The people attending a mixture of ages, nationalities and abilities which gives the classes a very relaxed feel and both English and Dutch are spoken.
If you are a beginner Gill will take you through various different processes such as coiling, pinching, slabbing, modeling, moulding-making & glazing and she has a good library of books for ideas and tips. If you need lots of help, Gill is there to give it, however if you are more experienced then you are left alone to get on with your latest project. I would highly recommend these classes as a great way to channel your creativity in clay with the opportunity to meet some lovely people at the same time!

It is always stimulating and challenging and such fun in a warm and inviting atmosphere, where we share ideas and enjoy each other's successes.

Gillian is a sweet lady and super teacher. I'm just a beginner in her class and have already learned skills to make some beautiful pieces. She takes the time to speak with every student, thinking through their ideas and making suggestions using her years of valuable experience.
I definitely recommend taking a ceramics class here, no matter what your skill level.
