I think it's a really bad company. People who ended up here through the audi site, I advise against coming here. 1 man hour costs 160 euros and just to find a problem it takes more than 8 hours. This only to find the problem, let alone solve it. People, including me, work full time for that amount for almost a month and here it is pretended it's nothing. Had to pay around 1000 euros for the work that a laptop has done.

When buying a car becomes a party. Yes, they still exist. Those salespeople who really see you as a potential customer. Which you receive nicely. Has answers to all questions. You can take a look around if you want. Just listen. And is willing to throw in some extras to get you over the line (in this case my son, who bought his very first new one). And then when picking up the car also a cake and a set of mats added ..... compliments for this car company and especially for mr X. Priem. Yes, it was a party because of him.

The fact that I lost my car for half a day for a winter check was a minus. But the friendly treatment at the desk was the deciding factor for the assessment.

Went by to try to make an appointment for my Passat TDi. I have never been treated so unkindly. This service employee from the early sixties, slumped in his chair and made it seem like he is the only VW dealer in the Netherlands. drove on to Wittebrug (real dealer) could go next week and explained everything neatly thanks Wittebrug

Was a service company now everything according to rules that are no longer customer-friendly, for an appointment of a car that drives 1500 km per year, € 450 was asked for the system to say so. No more VW for me after 30 years of being a customer, look for a new service company.

Really happy with the service. Friendly staff and always keeping you informed about every step of the work carried out. This is my new VW garage that I will return to. While your waiting for the service, there is a nice village to visit.

Unfortunately, I have had a far from perfect experience recently with Auto Service van der Velden. I am only sharing my experience after sending an email to them and waiting for 14 days with no response whatsoever. I have been to this auto service for the long life service of my car. A part of long life service is changing (in Dutch: vervangen) the engine oil according to the VW website. The service list (Onderhoudslijst) however, mentions that the oil is filled up and not changed (in Dutch: bijvullen instead of vervangen). There is a huge difference between adding oil to the car engine and replacing the oil. I have paid 280 euros for the long life service + 295 euros for their recommended services so in total 575 euros. The change of oil should be included in the long life service of the car and it is the bare minimum service you expect to get from the official VW dealer when you pay 575 euros. It is worth mentioning that the first quotation I got from the one of the nice and friendly staff of the auto service was 545 euros, at the end of the day someone (a car mechanic I presumed) called me and said the "accu is kapot" (the battery is broken) and I have to pay in total 845 euros (300 euros more than the quoted price apparently for the battery replacement). I have asked him not to change the battery since it was checked before and worked just fine and then he backed down immediately and said your car would be ready by 5 pm. When I went to the garage to pick up my car, the same friendly staff showing me a report of the performance of the battery of my car stating that the cold start current is lower than it should be and then immediately tore up the report and put it in the bin. I asked him why the guy on the phone said the battery is broken, he had no response for that. Instead, he explained to me what a really nice device they have for checking up the batteries. There are certain things you would expect from an official dealer like the steep pricing but you would not expect them to quote for 545 euros and try to reap you off for extra 300 euros for the battery and then increase the initial quotation to 575 when you ask them not to charge the battery. You would not expect them to add oil to your car engine instead of changing the oil. In all honesty, I am more than disappointed since the car was bought from the same auto service and has been taken for regular maintenance to the same dealer for more than 11 years. (PS: The price of the battery including the labor work should not be anywhere near 300 euros based on the model of my car). I hope they will respond to my email and resolve the issue.

Very impressed by the service here. Compliments to both the front-staff and mechanics. Despite the holidays and short staffing, they were able to take a look at an urgent issue with my car and got it nicely fixed.
