β β β β β A great driving school with professional, kind and patient instructors. They were very organised and always took care of matters according to my needs. I took lessons with Seher, who is a great teacher and always ensured for a relaxed atmosphere in the car. It was a pleasure to be taught by her and I would recommend her to anyone who needs to get their license. She has a personal approach and a lot of patience :)

β β β β β After having postponed to get my driving license for several years, it felt like the wait suddenly made sense after starting training with Shaban. A highly professional, incredibly well structured and patient instructor, his teaching methods focus on grasping the full meaning of safety and responsibility in all traffic situations. An analytic approach and a clear evaluation of mistakes make for a fast build-up of progress, in an individually tailored program that pays attention to personal needs, strengths and weaknesses.
Furthermore, the time spent together in the car is just as pleasant as meeting with an old friend and enjoying good conversation. His English proficiency and open mindset make communication easy and fluent for any expat in need.
One week into my official status as licensed driver and I am already feeling the confidence to get independently behind the steering wheel. Thank you for making this possible, Shaban!

β β β β β I managed to get my driverβs license here in the Netherlands with the superb guidance of and driving lessons from Autorijschool de Rijk. Everything was smooth from the moment I started coordinating with Johan (the owner). They are very professional, pragmatic and personalised in their approach, and efficient with all the communications. They took care of everything for me - from booking my theory exam to the actual practical exams. Big thanks to my instructor, Shaban, who was very professional and competent, diligent, and patient, while also making sure to point out my mistakes and try to correct them. At the same time, he was flexible - always tried to make things work in case of changes and he listened very well to my driving concerns and goals. He also speaks very well in English (in case youβre an expat). A nice plus is that he has a great sense of humour and itβs nice chatting with him about current affairs in the country. I couldnβt recommend De Rijk highly enough. Go for them!

β β β β β I had a great experience with Autorijschool De Rijk. Administration part and communication was done efficiently, they were very flexible and accommodated necessary re-booking of the exam.
As someone who had driving license already but had to pass the exam in the Netherlands, I felt that suggested number of driving lessons was well estimated and allowed me to eliminate bad habits, understand driving on Dutch roads much better and be well prepared for all the tips and tricks necessary for passing the exam.
Frank was absolutely brilliant! Always calm, patient, polite and supportive but consistent in pointing out mistakes, best practices and things to be mindful off in order to tackle the exam successfully. He would also take time to explain why is something bad and should be done differently and had very practical tips on how to "reset" previous driving habits which I found very helpful.
Thank you very much Frank, Karina and Johan, I would wholeheartedly recommend your school!

β β β β β De Rijk is a very good driving school. They are very professional and have good communication. I am very grateful to have gotten my licence here all with thanks to my instructor Ap. He is very professional and takes time to explain things in a proper manner. He is the best teacher I could have ever asked for, and if you do decide to sign up with this school, I would ask for him !!!!

β β β β β Thanks to Autorijschool "De Rijk" I was able to pass my driving exam at the first attempt. As a non-Dutch speaker, I am incredibly grateful to Johan and Seher for the extra effort they went to in order to ensure that I had the best possible chance of passing both the theory exam and the practical exam. I would happily recommend Autorijschool "De Rijk". It was a pleasure to learn to drive with them.

β β β β β I got very professional and well-detailed driving lessons from Johan. He stays calm when you make mistakes, and helps you become better and better each lesson. He is also flexible with scheduling and his car is always well maintained. I would highly recommend taking classes with him.

β β β β β I can highly recommend Autorijschool De Rijk. My instructor, Johan, was excellent and helped me prepare for the exam efficiently and effectively. His advice perfectly matched what the examiner asked for during the exam. So I felt that he did everything he could to prepare me to pass the practical exam. I was a very nervous, though experienced driver outside the Netherlands. During the trial lesson, he judged very well the amount of lessons that I would need to be prepared and used each lesson effectively. I felt that I got a lot of value for the amount that I paid and am very grateful that I passed on the first try! I am also a much more confident driver now. Johan's calm and clear style really helped me unlearn bad habits and drive with more confidence. Even if they recommend more lessons than you hoped for, I would recommend trusting their advice. They have a lot of experience helping students pass and want you to succeed.
