Had very educational and fun driving lessons with Wietse. He gives clear instructions and is very patient. Driving school van der Klip is definitely recommended!

I heard some horror stories from my international colleagues who already had been driving for 10+ years going to ANWB or other large companies and requiring minimum 25 lessons before they scheduled the exam. Not so with Wietse. He was patient and fair in terms of payment and scheduled my exam, when I was ready. I did all my lessons in English and he sat in the car during my exam as the official translator. It’s possible to schedule lessons outside of 9-5pm working hours, including weekends, which for me was essential. His company is in Drenthe but He does a lot of work in Groningen. Great service, fair price, capable teacher definitely recommend.

His good and clear communication skills in English also make him suitable for expats with little to no previous experience in driving, which was my case. His long experience with routes in Groningen (and surroundings) and good knowledge about the subtleties of the exam led me to a pass on the first try. All of this is combined with a friendly atmosphere in the car.

When you make a mistake, he explains it again patiently. I really also enjoy our conversation during the lessons. He is also very social person. I definitely advise this school!

His expansive knowledge of the CBR's preferred routes and demands during the practical exam allowed me to have more than enough experience in "testing" conditions. I would highly recommend him to anyone wishing to learn how to drive.

It was absolutely a pleasure to learn to drive with Wietse, his calming presence and encouragement promotes quick learning and confidence in driving. Wietse is incredibly generous in taking the time that is needed to ensure you get your license and in a very affordable way with thought and consideration for how expensive it can be in obtaining that all important driver's license. If you're looking for an excellent driving instructor, Autorijschool van der Klip is definitely the way to go!

Therefore, I felt comfortable during lessons. Additionaly, his instructions and explanations are clear. Moreover, his feedback is opportune. Furthermore, the program and lessons are designed and structured to get the best value, and he is ready to give you more time each lesson and not just 1 hour. I enjoyed practicing at Autorijschool van der Klip, and definitely, I recommend it.
