Friendly and helpful staff, I went to do the summer check on my car and the staff member was really nice, explained to me about the car and checked everything.

Absolut rip off. Go for a basic check up and end up with a >700€ bill. Found the same reparation-changes for less than half price in another garage.

I feel obliged to share this with all readers who think Kwik-fit is fully reliable and trustworthy. This comment is done in reference to the Kwik-fit garage in Almere Stad (I do NOT have experience with other Kwik-fit). The price they made are way higher than normal and honest cost. For 2 brake pads I did pay over 180 euro (only pads, no disc!!) and I was forced to do it in order to have my APK done, while, a week after the APK check, for a core spring set (only rear) I was asked 460 Euro which is just crazy and unrealistic (best quality/brand core spring cost for my car cost 75 Euro vat incl.). When I took my car to the garage to replace the spring, initially I was told that spare parts where not in house, so they need to call me the next day to confirm when the car would be ready and the only option they gave me was to live the car now otherwise wait at least one more week because they were totally booked and did not have space for my car. Well, I left the garage, literally move around the corner and immediately called another garage I know from before, which made me a better price so, I went back to Kwik-fit 5 minutes after I left and my car was already on the car-lift with technician ready to dismantle the weel!! What??? A few minutes ago, there was no space for my car, how come they find it without knowing if the spare part will arrive on time????!!!! To sum up, for one core spring, I spent 128 Euro including working time and vat (with warranty, of course)! In addition, I was told during the APK that my front breaks pad were wear and needs to be replaced (additional cost!!) while is not true! I have just checked yesterday in the other garage and pads are just fine and not need to be replaces! Please watch out from this garage who try to cheat on you. Save your money and pay who deserve it.
